Dear MVA Friends, As we approach the end of 2024 Team MVA is thankful for all our donors, supporters, coalition members and friends. This has been a challenging but very successful year. We wish you a very joyous Holiday Season. We hope you will join with Team MVA!

 

MVA GOTV Update:

 

We are very proud of the Non-Partisan GOTV, Veteran Voter Registration & Poll Watching recruitment led by 27 Montana Veterans with Team MVA and their family members in 2024. These are big numbers for any Montana Veterans organization. We had a HUGE impact. We especially want to thank our 27 volunteers and Marsi, Abby, Jason, Joshua, David, Paul, Elijah, Rachel, Pete and many others. Thank you ALL!

Warrior Team Hunt Program (WTHP) Update:

 

In our 6th year our 2024 motto was Strength & Honor. What a great season with the Montana Veterans Association & United States of Hope Warrior Team Hunt Programs. 179 Veterans in the field. 734 WTHP Alumni. 22 business sponsors. 44 Elk, Deer, Bear, Turkey, Antelope and some good grouse, pheasant and ducks hunting. 3 Great Warrior Team Hunt Camps for dozens of Montana Veterans.

We also held Hunt camps or WTHP events in Wyoming, Michigan & Georgia. We appreciate our good friends at Hunter Nation and Ted Nugent for all they do for disabled Veterans.

MONTANA Tix & LEGISLATIVE Session

 

Team MVA has met with several Mayors and dozens of incoming legislators in preparation for our 2025 “Montana Veterans Freedom Package” Legislative policy agenda. We will be hosting a Zoom in January to prepare for our Montana Veterans on the Hill. For those that are interested please email sam@mtmva.org. 

Team MVA sponsored 112 Montana Veterans for College Football games across the State this Fall!

 

If you would like to attend winter basketball games in Bozeman, Missoula or Helena let us know!

Christmas 4 Vets Kids

 

To kick off the holiday season just right, Lolo Hot Springs has partnered with Montana Veteran's Association (MVA) this year to give back to the community and help families in need with a Giving Tree. So far we have 55 Western Montana children signed up and we have fulfilled tags for 40 of them. Our deadline for SPONSORING the children is December 21st.

 

We would appreciate your consideration of sponsorship of a child on our Giving Tree. So far we have 40 Generous sponsors that have stepped up. Will you join with us?

MVA Coalitions & Vet 2 Vet Buddy Checks:

 

MVA Coalitions are expanding. We are growing rapidly and with that growth comes growing pains but also focus and determination. 

Our mission and goal through Montana Veterans Association Coalitions is resourcing & connecting veterans/families with our growing statewide network of organizations and allies that provide business and vocational training, trades, Vetrepreneurship, healthcare resources, behavioral health, legal and attorney support, outdoor recreation, marriage & family, retreats, employment, education, fitness, housing & suicide prevention, equine therapy, K9 service animal training and support, assistance with VA disability compensation, records requests, VA Liaison comms, VSO referrals. discharge upgrades, survivor benefits, and much more.

 

We also bring our coalition allies together on non partisan public policy goals and victories as well as public interest Veterans issues. For example in 2023 ALL our MVA legislative priorities were passed into law by the Montana Legislature. 

 

Join our Coalition today!

 

Currently MVA has 8,342 Montana members (nearing 8500) and 47 Montana organizations in our growing coalition.

 

Our Coalitions had 27 successful suicide interventions in 2024. We truly work united to strengthen Montana Veterans. 

Vet 2 Vet buddy Checks Stats

Finally, Team MVA is on the move. We have left our Missoula HQ and All Nations and will be operational with satellite offices in Kalispell, Billings and Helena. Thank you Missoula for all the great memories. We are now on the Hunt for a full time HQ to complement our satellite offices. We will keep you updated.
